FRIENDS OF THE RUH CONVENIENCE SHOP
Situated at the front of our Hospital in the Atrium, the Friends of the RUH shop sells a whole host of products for patients, visitors and staff. The shop has grown from strength to strength and tries to cater for all our shoppers.
The Friends of the RUH shop stock varies from fresh sandwiches, daily newspapers, groceries, confectionery, clothing, toiletries. cards and small gifts. The shop relies heavily on our volunteers around 50 in total, enabling the shop to open 7 days a week.
The proceeds from the Friends Shop are regenerated back to the hospital, providing comforts and amenities to our patients.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help out in our busy shop environment. Please contact the Office for more details.
Mon – Fri 8am – 6pm
Sat: 10am – 4pm
Sunday: 11am – 4pm
We offer a shop trolley service to patients on the wards who are not mobile enough to be able to visit the shop. This goes out daily and we need volunteers to help us with this.
