Volunteer Opportunities The Friends’ Cafe Volunteer Volunteering in our Café to help prepare hot drinks, provide excellent customer service, and generally support staff in keeping the Café a pleasant and welcoming space The Friends’ Shop Volunteer Shop volunteers provide excellent customer service to our visitors, and support the staff in refilling the shelves and tidying up our busy hospital shop Shop Trolley Volunteer Taking the shop trolley to different wards to provide Staff, patients and relatives with snacks and other items NEW Enhanced Care Volunteers As a Volunteer you will support the Enhanced Care Team to support vulnerable patients who are inpatients in the Hospital. Audiology Volunteers The Audiology Volunteer will support patients who need assistance with the repairs of their hearing aids. Family Liaison Volunteers The Family Liaison Facilitator (FLF) Volunteer will be part of the Family Liaison Facilitator team Older Persons Unit Volunteers As a volunteer you will support the team on OPUSS, a short stay ward for the care of older people Volunteer Hairdressers We currently have a wonderful volunteering opportunity for qualified hairdressers to be able to volunteer at the RUH Spiritual Care Volunteer The purpose of this volunteer role is to support the Team Chaplains in providing Spiritual and Religious Care to all patients, families, carers, visitors and staff within the Trust.
