The role is 30hrs per week, £12.21 per hour, from 1st April 2025 plus 35 days (full time equivalent) a year holiday including bank holidays and an employment benefits package.
About Us: The Friends of the RUH was founded in 1957 by volunteers, including Margaret Berry (Dame Mary Berry’s mother), to support the hospital. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include assisting patients on wards and across the hospital, maintaining public spaces, and tending to the hospital’s gardens.
Our Status: We are an independent organisation, not a department of the hospital. We are governed by the Charity Commission and hold Charitable Incorporated Organisation status.
