I joined the Friends as Volunteer Services Manager in July 2023, bringing my experience as HR Lead/Trainer in Health and Social Care as well as the Ministry of Defence .
I am pleased to be using my in-depth background in Personal Development, Equality and Diversity Inclusion, Health and Safety, Record Keeping and Compliance/ Quality Assurance Standards and Transformational Change here at the Friends.
Since joining, I have seen “first-hand” the incredible positive impact volunteers have on Patients and Staff, alike. My ongoing objective is to increase the numbers and roles for Volunteers within the Trust, alongside, increasing the Volunteer Hours given to the Hospital.
